Sacred Rage, A BIPOC Centered Workshop
This Workshop is for you if you have been conditioned out of your anger. Told you’re being “unreasonable”, “difficult”, “demanding”, “aggressive” or “overreacting” when you assert your boundaries, disagree or speak in valid defense of yourself, the people you care about and values . This workshop is for you if you have learned to tuck yourself in and shove your anger down to be “accommodating” .
This workshop is for folks who move though the world as people of color, it is a space for speaking openly and honestly about what it means, feels and looks like to value our anger as a tool for our own liberation in a society that uses race as a means of policing brown, black and femme presenting bodies . This workshop is for you if you are longing to hold your anger lovingly and honor its wisdom and you’d like some tools to help you feel resourced .
This workshop will take place Thursday February 25th from 3:30-5:30 PM Hawai’i time, please adjust for your timezone.
We will be working with flower essences, tea, floral baths, journal prompts and partnered listening in our time together.
This workshop is open BIPOC only, it is a space that centers the wisdom, stories and lived experiences of folks of color.
Tickets are sliding Scale $25-$50. Limited to 12 people.
Embodied Allyship: Partnering With Plants To Return To Our Wholeness
This talk is an introduction to what it looks like and feels like to build a reciprocal relationship with plants that moves beyond a language of consumerism, calls us home to our integrity, traces the wisdom of our ancestors , and builds on our felt intuition as it lives in our body and engages our senses.
In this talk we will explore:
The importance of cultivating boundaries & consent with plants & our healing work
Building a spiritual relationship with plants that calls us into belonging with ourselves, our community and the lands we call “home”
How we track transformation when we work with Plant Spirit Medicine
How working with plants brings us into an embodied relationship with our intuition
How plants help us shift narratives of unworthiness & shame
-This workshop is a prerequisite to the Embodied Allyship 3 month mentorship I will offer in 4/21 , and it will be an opportunity to learn more about that offering and ask questions.
Please note, this is not a two day event. You can join the talk on either Saturday 2/20 or Sunday 2/21 from 2-3:30PM HST (please adjust for your time zone); you’ll be given the chance to select which date you’d like to attend upon checkout.
