Plant Ally Series: Working with Plant Spirit Medicine @ Dandelion Botanical Company \\$40 a workshop or $105 for the whole series
A 3-part series focused on cultivating a relationship with plants.
Learning To Listen To Plants , Saturday 4.7.18 , 11AM-1:30PM
In our first class we will talk about the many ways one can begin cultivating a relationship and an awareness of plant spirits. We will meet a few plants as teas, tinctures and flower essences, and talk about working with the wisdom present in each form. In closing, we will engage a plant ally in dialogue through meditation with a flower essence, and create medicine bundles to support intentional dreaming.
Tuning Into The Wisdom Of The Body, Saturday 4.11.18 , 11AM-1:30PM
Our second class will focus on tuning into the wisdom of the body as tool for deepening our awareness of plant allies. We will practice grounding and centering in our bodies, and work with an essence or a tea to guide us in journaling from the body. Our discussion will center on floral bathing, the wisdom of the elements, and cultivating embodied intuition by working with plants topically. Folks will leave with recipes for floral bathing and a flower essence.
Tincture Making & How to Infuse Your Medicine With Spirit, Saturday 4.21.18 , 11AM-1:30PM
In our final class we will engage in the ritual of medicine making by learning to make alcohol based tinctures in the folk medicine style. We will learns ways to invoke the spirits of the plants, invite the wisdom of lands and ancestors and make intentional medicine. Our discussion will include working with solar and lunar phases, making environmental essences, and creating community rituals of healing.
